Katherine has it all. Fame. Beauty. Wealth. She grew up having whatever she wanted. People see her as a spoiled brat but she doesn’t care. She loves freedom and sparkling things. She loves parties and traveling. They owned an empire anyway, so why bother about how she spends their fortune carelessly?
Not until her grandfather called her one night.
He told Katherine to get to Manila to get married to save their failing empire. Katherine ignored his grandfather’s warning and didn’t give a damn. But when her cards were rejected one by one, and when the news exploded about her grandfather being arrested, Katherine realized that his grandpa was not bluffing! Their empire is failing!
And the only solution was to get married!
Katherine was against that solution at first. She’ll find another way on saving their empire without selling herself and her freedom. Even she is a tease to every man, she also wished to be wedded to her one true love someday. But their business was in the bridge of doom.
So Katherine did the most logical thing to do. She swallowed her pride and went to the address of the church where the wedding will be held. She found a man standing and waiting on the altar. But to her surprise, the man standing near the altar was the man she had s*x with last week!
Katherine didn’t know if it was a coincidence or not. But she pushed through the wedding since the man standing in front of him was the man her grandfather wanted for her to marry. And it seems that his groom-to-be has no problem with it.
The wedding is very private. The only present was her as the bride, the groom, the priest, and one witness for the marriage.
Everything seemed to go well after the wedding ceremony. Katherine and her husband, Alejandro, parted ways to quickly attend their personal business.
But not until when Katherine’s grandfather announced, that she went to the wrong wedding.
